BEIJING, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- At the invitation of Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong, Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang will visit Singapore on Nov. 10 and 11, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning announced Friday.
Ding, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, will co-chair with Gan the 20th meeting of the China-Singapore Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation, the 25th meeting of the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Joint Steering Council (JSC), the 16th meeting of the China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City JSC, and the eighth meeting of the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity JSC, Mao added.
At the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Ding, as Chinese President Xi Jinping's special representative, will travel to Azerbaijan for the World Leaders Climate Action Summit on Nov. 12 and 13, Mao said, adding that Ding will visit Azerbaijan at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Abdulla oglu Mustafayev.
