BEIJING, April 12 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Ministry of National Defense hosted a seminar on international security cooperation in Beijing on Friday, a spokesperson for the ministry said.
Military attaches from foreign embassies in China and European Union (EU) military representatives in China attended the event held at the International College of Defense Studies of the University of National Defense, spokesperson Wu Qian told a regular press briefing.
The seminar invited leading officials and experts from relevant military and civilian departments to introduce the concept of a community with a shared future for humanity and the Global Security Initiative, Wu said.
Participants also discussed topics such as the international strategic situation, military education and training cooperation between China and foreign countries, as well as how to tackle global security challenges by strengthening international military cooperation.
