Senior CPC official meets former Philippine president
BEIJING, April 4 (Xinhua) -- Liu Jianchao, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on Tuesday met with Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, honorary chairwoman of Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) party, Senior Deputy Speaker of the House and former President of the Philippines.
The two sides exchanged in-depth views on deepening inter-party exchanges between China and the Philippines and promoting the development of state-to-state relations.
