China condemns suicide blast in Kabul
BEIJING, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- China strongly condemns the suicide blast that occurred near the Afghan foreign ministry in Kabul on Wednesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said on Thursday.
"China firmly opposes all acts of violence and terrorism," Wang said at a regular news briefing when asked about the blast that killed at least five people.
He expressed condolences to the victims and sympathies to the injured and the bereaved families.
Wang said that no Chinese citizens were killed or injured in this terrorist attack.
He urged Afghanistan to take resolute measures to protect the safety of Chinese and other countries' personnel and institutions there.
