Chinese, Vietnamese navies patrol Beibu Gulf waters
NANNING, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese and Vietnamese navies began a two-day joint patrol in the Beibu Gulf waters Thursday, according to the Chinese military.
It is their 33rd joint patrol in the Beibu Gulf waters following the two countries' signing of an agreement in 2005 on joint patrol in the Beibu Gulf waters.
Warships of the two sides also conducted a joint search and rescue drill.
