Global Development Initiative: 'No country should be left behind'
Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed the Global Development Initiative (GDI) at the general debate of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly on Sept. 21, 2021. A year on, the GDI has been warmly received by the international community and more than 100 countries and international organizations, including the United Nations, have expressed support.
