30 years on, China-ROK trade bears fruits

This year marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and the Republic of Korea (ROK).

Over the three decades, trade between the two countries has grown 72-fold to more than 360 billion U.S. dollars. China has become the ROK's largest trading partner, while the ROK is now China's third-largest trading partner.

According to the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the cumulative two-way investment between the two countries has exceeded 100 billion U.S. dollars.

The two countries also have close cooperation in such areas as IT, automobiles, new energy, finance and logistics.
