Xi Jinping stresses on building a green, healthy, intelligent and peaceful Silk Road in his speech delivered at the Legislative Chamber of the Uzbek Supreme Assembly

On June 22, 2016 local time, President Xi Jinping stressed in his speech delivered at the Legislative Chamber of the Uzbek Supreme Assembly that we should work to deepen cooperation in environmental protection, practice the notion of green development, and strengthen environmental protection to jointly build a green Silk Road. We should step up efforts in deepening medical and health cooperation, and enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation in the alert of infectious diseases, disease control and prevention, medical assistance, traditional medicines and other areas, so as to jointly build a healthy Silk Road. We should work to deepen cooperation on talent training to build a Silk Road of intelligence. We should focus on deepening security cooperation, carry out the vision of common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security in Asia, and advance the construction of a security governance mode with Asian features to build a Silk Road of peace together.
