BEIJING, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- China's anti-dumping investigation into wine imports from Australia will be conducted in a fair and just manner in accordance with law, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson said Tuesday.
Responding to an inquiry about a statement issued earlier Tuesday by the Ministry of Commerce concerning the move, spokesperson Zhao Lijian told a regular press briefing that it is a normal case of anti-dumping investigation.
Relevant Chinese authorities on July 6 received an application filed by domestic wine industry for the anti-dumping probe, and found after reviews that it met the statutory requirements, Zhao said, adding that the probe was launched Tuesday.
