6th China-South Asia Expo canceled amid COVID-19 epidemic

KUNMING, May 17 (Xinhua) -- The sixth China-South Asia Expo and 26th China Kunming Import and Export Commodities Fair are canceled this year due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, according to the events' organizer.

The third China-South Asia Cooperation Forum is also canceled this year for epidemic control.

The fifth China-South Asia Expo and 25th China Kunming Import and Export Commodities Fair were held in June 2018. A total of 3,825 companies attended the events, signing 807.9 billion yuan (about 114 billion U.S. dollars) worth of deals.
