CHANGSHA, July 25 (Xinhua) -- China is willing to share with African countries its experience in realizing modernization and further promote China-Africa cooperation, a senior Chinese legislator said here on Thursday.

China will also make concerted efforts with African people and political parties in deepening exchange, building solidarity, pursuing growth, promoting peace and advancing civilizations, thus creating a favorable environment for both sides to achieve their own development visions, said Li Hongzhong, vice chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee.

Li made the remarks when addressing the opening ceremony of the 7th China-Africa People's Forum and the 7th China-Africa Young Leaders Forum in Changsha, capital of Hunan Province in central China.

Li said China and Africa have witnessed ever deepening political mutual trust and fruitful results of cooperation in various fields, thanks to the vision of a China-Africa community with a shared future and China's Africa policy featuring sincerity, real results, amity and good faith.

China will work with African countries on the implementation of the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative and the Global Civilization Initiative to jointly make contributions to human progress, he said.

The two events drew more than 200 people from more than 50 African countries, including politicians, political party members, youth leaders, and representatives of non-governmental organizations and think tanks.
