Chinese State Councilor meets foreign guests on Middle East security

BEIJING, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi Wednesday met with foreign guests attending the Middle East Security Forum in Beijing.

Wang said the Chinese solutions to the Middle East security are to pursue common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security and abandon the idea of exclusive and absolute security.

He called on parties involved to uphold the right course of political resolution, safeguard the basic principles of fairness and justice, give full play of the UN's key role and unite with powers in the region and from the international community.

Foreign guests attending the forum highly appreciated China's constructive role to the peace and security issues in the Middle East.
